About

The Modoc Nation Educational Nature Center is an outdoor education environment that encourages children to play, explore, and learn in a natural outdoor space. Children will learn about the outdoors, themselves, and each other, while also developing skills such as gardening, identifying insects, and observing the weather.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to inspire wonder, understanding, and connection to the natural world through playful, outdoor, scientific inquiry. We believe in preparing formal and informal educators to provide children with meaningful outdoor experiences. Supporting outdoor learning to awaken curiosity while engaging the body.
